He Was Getting Married, But His Mother Was Sick, What He Did Made EVERYONE Break Down in Tears! WOW!

We are glad that Kristeena and Luke Rheault from Florida shared this intimate and very heart-touching moment with the world. This video makes you appreciate the loved ones that are still with you, and to cherish the moments of those who’ve passed away. Luke’s mother was suffering from ALS at the time. She was confined to a wheelchair and getting weaker each day. But that didn’t stop her son from having this very special moment before she left this world. It meant the world for both of them to have that last dance before Luke starts a new life with his own family. I cried through the whole thing, so keep those tissues close. Please, LIKE and SHARE.

ALS or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a terrible disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. What causes it is unknown. Only 5-10% of cases are inherited. More than 12,000 people in the U.S. have a definite diagnosis of ALS. More often it affects white males ages 60-69, but it may affect anyone anywhere. ALS causes progressive degeneration of the motor neurons which eventually leads to their death. When the motor neurons die, the brain loses its ability to initiate and control muscle movement. With time, affected people lose the ability to speak, eat, move and finally breathe. Currently, there is no cure that stops or reverses ALS. The only FDA approved drug, riluzole, only modestly slows the progression of ALS in some people. Scientists are working on learning more about the disease. That’s what the Ice Bucket challenge was all about, to raise money for research and to spread the awareness. You could help today by making a donation to ALS Association on the official website: www.alsa.org.
